Leadership capability assessments

Cleugh has worked with community service organisations in the youth, alcohol and other drug, housing and homelessness, and psychiatric disability fields to identify staff management capability needs. We do not share client names in recognition of the sensitive nature of this work

Assessments are informed by 67 well evidenced leadership competencies (Lominger). These are organised under emotional intelligence dimensions. to help identify broad strengths and development areas, as well as specific capabilities identified for improvement.

Each assessment includes gathering perspectives from the staff member, their manager and a select number of direct reports.

A brief report with practical recommendations is provided back to staff, this can be used to frame workplace development goals over the next 12 months

Leadership training

Cleugh has delivered leadership training modules based around the four dimensions of emotional intelligence. We have supported emerging leaders in the youth, alcohol and other drug, and housing and homelessness sectors.

Groups of 4 to 8 managers, often part of one team, work together to create consistent, integrated leadership and development frameworks designed to support their staff and themselves.

Activities are incorporated which address current, real world challenges for these people and teams.

Coaching

We have long standing experience providing coaching and development services to emerging and existing leaders. Coaching is often used to assist managers and leaders during times of change and challenge, or for high performing staff who are actively seeking frameworks and evidence based practices designed to drive their further development.

We have provided coaching and development services to staff across youth, alcohol and other drug, housing and homelessness, and community health settings.
